of Strasbourg honor guard. Leather-covered handle with filigree. Gilt brass mounting, openwork shell guard and straight quillon. Flat-backed straight blade, double hollow sides, engraved, gilded and blued in thirds with imperial eagle and "Garde d'honneur impériale de la ville de Strasbourg".
